Press Release Parliamentary Review

Garside & Co LLP sits alongside Prime Minister Theresa May in The Parliamentary ReviewChaired jointly by Lord Blunkett and Lord Pickles, The Parliamentary Review has become a staple in the political calendar. Bringing together views from across the political spectrum, The Review is a template for best practice across a multitude of sectors. Industry leaders celebrate their success, share their concerns and look to the future to consider how external factors ranging from Brexit to the domestic skills gap may affect the road ahead. The advent of Brexit, though seen by some as a challenge, is considered by others to be an opportunity. Stephen Garside, founder of Garside & Co LLP, a boutique West End accountancy firm, discusses in The Review the positive impact of Brexit on UK business interests, the future of UK trade in general and the place Garside & Co LLP will hold in this new chapter of the world economy.

The financial services sector has seen its fair share of uncertainty over the past couple of years, but it nonetheless remains stalwart and robust. In this year’s edition of The Parliamentary Review, notable firms from within the industry discuss GDPR, new financial legislation and the move towards leaving the European Union.

The recently appointed director of The Review, Craig Wilmann has emphasised that this year’s Parliamentary Review makes it clearer than ever that it is “vitally important that there is a good deal of cooperation between business leaders and politicians.”

Writing in The Review, the prime minister says that “British politics provides ample material for analysis in the pages of The Parliamentary Review.”
